03:46 PM ET 10.13 | New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is very unhappy with the league office and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and he is not afraid to publicly criticize the man in charge. Brees is worried about the abuse of power in the league office and he sounded off on the issue during an interview with TIME.com. "Just the fact that, these unilateral decisions can be made without any kind of oversight, just seems like there's - and I'm not talking about the decisions that are made when a guy gets a DUI, or when a guy gets a weapons charge, or gets caught making bad decision in that regard," Brees told TIME's Sean Gregory.

Yup, and he has a lot to be frustrated about.

Frustration. Happens to everyone

Maybe he should be taking it out on the Saints coaches and GM. They're the reason the Saints are in this mess.

You arm chair QBs kill me. Do you really not realize they are **** with his livelyhood ? Oh just shut up and play, entertain us. The realities are, were any flag thrown ? From Brees point, you gut my team, I cannot win, and perhaps I will get hurt and have to end my career. How does that help the process ? So just shut up. Oh and by the way if you want RG to play this weekend, Go F yourself, cause you are all about your entertainment, not the game.

They "cheated". They got caught. Now they (he) has to deal with it. Livelihood? And I quote (you) " perhaps I will get hurt and have to end my career". WHAT ABOUT THE GUYS HIS TEAMMATES WERE TRYING TO INJURE? If he was as big of a leader as he thinks he is, then he should have stopped this before it even started! I guess it's okay to ruin another guys career though! He knew it, he allowed it and now he has to play with it. ZERO SYMPATHY! "Show me the proof?" You are a complete HYPOCRITE ! You say that ???RG??? shouldn't play because he is injured just after defending a guy who allowed his teammates to intentionally injure players! Go f YOURSELF!

This is the CBA that the Saints and 30 other teams voted for so strongly a couple of years ago. You can't change it now.

He allowed them to continue ? How was he going to stop them, he wasn't even on the field. Did you ever play defense ? There isn't a defensive player anywhere that doesn't get a chubby thinking about putting the QB in the front row of seats.

Today's Sunday why don't you and Drew go to Church, and bring your case up to a higher authority, the man makes 20 Mil a Year, last time I looked no offensive line or players were suspended and all he wants to do is add to his legacy, no support over here, the Man's a whiner!

I get that he's towing the company line, but he should seriously think about keeping his mouth closed about the matter. I don't buy that he was 100% unaware of what was going on.

Once again, he should blame his coaches and GM. They were given ample opportunity to shut the program down, and instead chose to ignore the commish's directive and turn around and lie to him about it. The blame lies squarely within the Saints organization. And Brees is going to get his $$$$$, so I'm not buying that anyone is screwing with his livelihood.

Exactly! When you give away all your power don't be suprised when things don't go your way. Wonder what he would think if Goodell started publicly questioning his competence to negotiate on the players behalf if he already forgot what he and the other reps agreed to last year?
