08:47 AM ET 10.14 | The National Hockey League and the players' association plan for bargaining talks to resume on Tuesday. Details of the meeting and its location have not been finalized. The two sides last held discussions during two days of negotiations at the league's New York office earlier this week. After five hours of talks on Wednesday, the sides got back together on Thursday; although day two was centred on secondary issues. All games through Oct. 24 have been called off, and more cuts are expected with no new labour deal in sight.

A bigger rink doesn't mean a better game...it just means the skilled players are kept further away from the net due to the inferior team's trap/lock or whatever you would prefer to call it.
