Time running short for Eagles' Reid

08:01 AM ET 10.15 | At the end of the day, it's not so much Andy Reid's underwhelming press conference appearances after Philadelphia losses. Reid's real problem will be his lack of answers on the field, not at the podium. ... After Sunday's mind-searing loss against the Detroit Lions, the team is 3-3. That's 37.5 percent of the season gone and the Eagles are .500 -- the benchmark Lurie said would mean the end of the Reid Epoch. So Reid has a bye week, then 10 games to prove that his 11-11 record over the past two seasons is a mirage of some kind. Ten games to prove the steady regression since 2008 is just a fluke. Ten games to transform Michael Vick into a championship quarterback. All of that would take some doing.

Another "Been There Too Long" coaches.

Mike Vick the coach killer is striking again.

Time has run out on Vick. Reid should use the extra time to get Foles ready for a start - new QB always buys a coach extra time. That's what our sage, 50, says, and I believe him.

By the way, how about those Giants?

Vick can't be gone soon enough for me. I can't believe he got a job anyway.

October 15, 2012  09:16 AM ET

He looks tired; time for a rest break?

Here another bush league thread......I guess no one including T & R wants to talk about the real story and that is how the GMEN destroy the 49ers. I guess T & R is like ESPN's analysts, and posters on this site...embarrassed by ya bush league opinons on the greatness of the GMEN. Hey, Hey, I'm talking to ya.........49ers, Patriots, Packers. I guess our only true test of fortitude would be against the famed Steelers Nation. It would be a test of the NFL's finest organizations going head to head with a never back down attitude. Yeah, thats what I'm looking forward to ........Giants vs. Steelers!

Amazing how the Giants just have the number of a lot of good teams.

San Fran is owned.

Time to blow this team up. Maybe the Steelers too. Patriots?

Honestly I thought Vick was better than he showed. He is not the QB that he used to be. I thought he got a big time concussion in the game and seemed to look puzzled at times. The Eagles deeeeeeeeefense looks awful except for a couple of players.

I've always believed that Alex Smith was the weak link in the niners and still do. He may get them to the playoffs but no SB with this guy. If they learn that soon maybe they can right that ship?

Dear Andy-

I have been watching you for 14 years in philly--- every post game interview you say "we have to do a better job at ball control", "we have to do a better job of play calling", " we have to do a better job of protecting the ball"... After 14 years---- WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET BETTER??? Only in the Toilet of Philly can a Moron still be a coach this long... I guess it is good enough for philly fans...

More like "Every Given Sunday" when it comes to the Packers, 49ers, and Patriots. Yeah, "thats the reality of it" whether is stated or not...accept it!

What I seem yesterday was a bad O Line and a QB who was running for his life and when he had time to pass very inconsistent.

Regardless. Still the team to beat in the NFC East. First one to 10 wins the division and the rest go home.

Thought so last year too.
