Luck crashing back to earth

08:02 AM ET 10.15 | The "R" word might be something Colts fans should become accustomed to hearing this season in the case of Andrew Luck. Luck was guilty of nothing worse than being a rookie Sunday. He completed 22-of-44 passes for 280 yards on a golden October afternoon that yielded no touchdowns and less satisfaction. He threw two interceptions, was sacked four times and lost a fumble. ... Luck was looking at himself. Turnovers, he said, are Job 1. "It starts with me: I'm sure I have what, 75 percent or close to that of those?" he said. "So yeah, it does have to be priority one. If you're in the plus column on turnovers you've got a chance to win. Coach (Chuck) Pagano has preached that since Day 1. If you're minus, it's an uphill climb."

He'll be fine.

Hail!!!

Jim Haslett finally figured out how to blitz.

The interceptions hurt Luck most... He slightly over threw two passes that would have been TD's and another 90 yards on his stats.

Yes, he will be fine.

Funny. I thought these guys could rise to the occasion and do it again. I mean is this a good team or not. Is Wayne a god or not? Is Luck the greatest since bread was invented or not?

QUOTE(#9):

did anybody tell [colts] that the superbowl is in feb.,.....not last week vs. greenbay...?

Did anybody tell the Packers they weren't supposed to win last night?

October 15, 2012  09:43 AM ET

The Colts were a lot more than just a QB away from being average last year. Not sure this writer and their fans ever accepted just how bad they were and where they are starting from this year.

Losing your head coach after just 3 weeks into your rookie season doesn't help either.

October 15, 2012  10:03 AM ET

He's not even halfway through his rookie year... I guess the media needs some way to stir the pot.

October 15, 2012  11:42 AM ET

Luck probably wishes he could play against the Packer "D" every week.

October 15, 2012  12:51 PM ET

How is it that week in and week out these writers manage to forget that Luck got drafted by a lousy team?

Bad enough they weren't that good, but they were also getting old. If I was a Colts fan, I would be ecstatic that the rebuild is underway, and the key piece is a great QB. Geez, give the kid a couple seasons before you expect him to start walking on water.

October 15, 2012  03:04 PM ET

Lets not forget he's a rookie...

Luck got beat by a Hungry Team, they had a let down from last weeks win!!
