08:06 AM ET 10.15 | While Doug Collins drew headlines for calling out his players for their conditioning over the weekend, most Sixers fans are even more interested in the health of someone who didn't suit up: Andrew Bynum. On Sunday, after about a 90-minute workout at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Collins gave an update on Bynum. "He said he's feeling better," Collins said. "I think he's set for another injection. Eventually they are going to pick up him running on the treadmill and that will be a huge step." ... The injection of which Collins spoke, according to a source, was planned as part of Bynum's ongoing treatment from the Orthokine therapy he received in Germany last month. This injection involves lubricating the joints, the source said.

Taking A Knee, Bro?

Eventually he will be on the treadmill? Oh lordy. I can already see the story in next year's camp. Bynum Oct 2013 " You know last year with the knee and me not being ready until mid-year, I did not get a chance to get in the flow with the team. This year with a whole training camp, I will show people what I can do."

QUOTE(#9):

Magic got crap for Howard! Bynum still would have been worth it and at least they get to really start over if he didn't pan out. Instead they got some expensive mediocre players and still got to keep Hedo.

I do not agree. While the deal that the Nets presented looked a helluva lot better than what the Magic ultimately settled for, Orlando still was able to dump some big salaries, grab a few pieces, and stock up on draft picks. Considering that having Howard walk away with nothing to show for came perilously close to happening, I think the Magic got more than "crap" in the deal.
