08:08 AM ET 10.15 | This coming week, even in the preseason, is an important one for Mike Woodson, whose Knicks are set to play three games in four nights. [We'll] have to see who will be left standing on what is one of the league's oldest teams. The Knicks made a conscious effort this season to fill their supporting cast with playoff warhorses such as Jason Kidd (39), Marcus Camby (38), Kurt Thomas (40) and Rasheed Wallace (38), who retired at the conclusion of the 2010 Finals. ... Although he has been downplaying the absences of [Amar'e Stoudemire] and Camby, Woodson has to be starting to get a little anxious. The Knicks can never get a totally accurate picture of their offense until they see how Stoudemire fits in with Carmelo Anthony.

There is a BIG difference between the celts and the Knicks.

Firstly, chemistry was a non-issue between the big-3 (atleast not until end of last season)
KG WAS the captain and everyone look his lead (mostly defensively)
PP and Ray didn't flinch to sacrifice.

Will Amare and 'Melo do that? Is Amare willing to LEARN better D at this age? Same with 'Melo.

'Sheed is done, Camby is a walking injury. Now Kidd may be able to help this team, but only with limited minutes.

Plus Woody is NO Doc!!!

I think Boston has greatly improved. Don't feel the same about the Knicks.
