Because if there's any chance of Leyland being available -- and he's finishing out his contract, so why not? -- the Red Sox would be crazy not to make a serious run at him. ... "You have every right to ask them. I don't blame you. So I am trying to handle this the best we can." That is what's known as a clinic, and it's exactly what the Red Sox are looking for.
