08:22 AM ET 10.16 | According to Nolan Hart's father, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim has given the walk-on a scholarship. Hart, a junior from Albany, is entering his third year with the SU basketball program. Last year, Hart, a 5-10 guard, appeared in two games. He didn't score a point, but he did register an assist and a rebound. Hart is the third former walk-on to receive a scholarship this year. He joins seniors Matt Lyde-Cajuste and Griffin Hoffman. Syracuse had just 10 recruited scholarship players on this year's roster, which is three under the NCAA's limit of 13. Boeheim often rewards his veteran walk-ons with scholarships if they are available. Hart played high school basketball at Albany Academy.
