11:24 AM ET 10.16 | The Cowboys lost running back DeMarco Murray in Sunday's loss to the Ravens but they won't have him back in Week 7, according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. "I think we were encouraged that his sprain was not any more serious than it is," Jones said. "He's a tough guy. I regret that we're not going to have him against Carolina, which looks obvious. I'm encouraged that we're going to have him as we move along." Felix Jones will step up in his absence.

Too many fragile running backs in Dallas. Felix Jones could get hurt even before Murray returns...

seems this way.... but at least witten got the crisco cleaned from his hands, it appears. i know it seems crazy to suggest the panther game is a big one for dallas, but if they can't beat this team i hate to see what the giants and falcons will do to them. shall we go ahead and call the season??? LOL

They could have made the headline "Half of Dallas's offense out for Week 7" and it would have sounded more interesting.
True, too, because Murray was half of their offense against the Ravens.

Safe to say... the next two games pretty much decide how the season goes.

It's too bad the defacto Cowboys HC (Jerry Jones) can't get injured. Then maybe Dallas would have a chance to make the playoffs.

I don't think anyone is real worried about the Panthers.

I saw where Jerry Jones has been taking snaps from the Cowboys first team offense. Gotta love that micro-managin' disciple of Al Davis.
Tony Romo was reported as not caring one way or another. We expect to see Jerry quarterbacking his mediocre team right down the toilet really soon.
