12:51 PM ET 10.16 | The Chiefs aren't saying what they'll do at quarterback now that Matt Cassel is on his way back from his concussion. Cassel has been cleared for non-contact practice and will split reps with Brady Quinn this week. Quinn wasn't much different than Cassel, who has struggled, when replacing him in Week 6. The Chiefs are on the bye this week so they have time to make a decision.

Aaaah, just our college days....NEXT!

How many times does Brady Quinn have to prove he is not capable of being a successful NFL QB?

So much like the last thread on this subject, too.

And the QB situation in KC will still suck.

Why not just run it all day long with Jamaal Charles? He's ten times the player anyone else on that pitiful team is.

They should add Stanzi into the mix, and have the 3 of them split reps with the punter. Because that's how the games are going.

Maybe the punter can throw...

Paging Mr. Barkley, Mr. Jones, Mr. Smith, Mr. Klein. Please report to the front of the draft...

Actually, there is a ballboy who has shown some arm strength during the drills and seems to get the player's attention. Scott Pioli is in negotiations with his mom, but so far the fact that he is only 14 is a sticking point.

Ray Guy was a decent QB and was almost always the #3 QB on the Raiders roster.

October 16, 2012  01:58 PM ET

Matt Flynn may be available for teh right price.

Deciding between these two ultimate bums is like deciding if you would rather be burned alive or drowned. Both absolutely suck

October 16, 2012  02:29 PM ET

Ya see two wrongs do make a right

October 16, 2012  02:30 PM ET

Still can't get a whole QB with both of them combined.

October 16, 2012  02:32 PM ET

One for You, One for Me, One for You, One for Me, etc, etc, etc!!

Yep - and there were no worries about him being able to perform, either.

That's what his wife said, anyway.

One of the greats.

I remember one of his punts, where the returner got past everyone else and it was Ray Guy's job to stop him. You know how that usually works, right? Yeah, touchdown. Ray Guy hit him in the midsection and threw him to the ground. He's lucky he didn't lose the ball.

1st down Cassel, 2nd down Quinn, 3rd down Stanzi, 4th down punt. At least they could send the play in from the sideline with the designated QB/Punter and not have to worry about signals being stolen, or headsets not working.

No, not yet! Wilson looked like a real QB for about half of the game on Sunday, so there is hope, but it is a long way from hope to accomplishment. It is too early to give away the back up.
