05:30 PM ET 10.16 | Terrell Suggs has missed the entire season with an Achilles' injury but will take a big step this week when he is activated from the Ravens PUP list and begins practicing. While he will be starting to practice on a limited basis, the Ravens will take a cautious approach with Suggs' return. "The timetable for Suggs to return is still most likely in November," the Baltimore Sun reported.

Ask not what is best for the players, but what is best for the owner

They've just lost Ray Lewis for... well... probably forever. Suggs is the future leader of that defense. They need to protect him.

I'm bummed as hell that Ray Lewis won't be playing this year. . . maybe never again. I always loved watching the Ravens play D.

I can't see him going out on an injury. He will at least try to play next year.

But yeah, the guy is a star and an inspirational leader on the field, regardless of what one thinks of things that have happened around him off the field. The game will miss him.

It would be wise to extra Cautious!

What are they going to do? He's a linebacker. He's got to hit people hard, or he's not worth having on the field.

Keep him off the field if he's not ready, but once he's fit to go, you've got to turn him loose.
