08:05 AM ET 10.17 | Time will certainly be a theme of the Lakers season -- particularly whether it has caught up to Steve Nash -- but, for now, the team does have that element on its side. For all the talk about [Nash's] age, consider what he said before that first long practice: "I feel as good as I've ever felt." ... The only significant pains so far are growing ones from joining an offense that won't revolve around his pick-and-roll thrusts four out of five plays have been evident at times, including in the first quarter Tuesday. Nash had three turnovers in the last 1:25 of the period, including one where he threw the ball left and Bryant went right. "We're a work in progress," Nash said later. "That's the bottom line."

Well here my take fa all da Kobe homers............1) there was no speak of Kobe gettin rings 6 or 7 until...you guessed it..Dwight & Nash arrived. Another glowing example of how he's always bailed out in this regard, hence, Shaq, then Pau, now Dwight. Kobe homers didn't even think he'd ever get another ring until they arrived. So much for "this is my team" proclamation by this fraud.

2) plus 30 somethings...Jamison, Bryant, Gasol, World Peace, Stevie Boy Nash, & ya boy Stevie Blake, poss. Fisher, pretty much the entire fabric of the team, yet all the homers are constantly bashing the Knicks and their grandpa's but quietly keep their traps shult when it comes to the very old Lakers...homerism at best, this is.

3) a coach who can't coach or who can't figure out how to properly utilize his talent adn most importantly, afraid of this pompus prick Kobe.

4) and whatta ya got? Please tell me.........

Nash is used to playing with a bunch of slashers & spot up shooters. He has been driving Ferrari???s but now finds himself being chauffeured in a Rolls Royce and Kobe, Dwight, Pau and the other Lakers will take him to the Promise-Land. Steve has a greater adjustment curve than the others (who are more traditionalists). He is a smart, talented dude who will figure things out by learning his teammate???s strengths, weaknesses and tendencies. When all is said & done; look for his game and his teammates to rise to a very high level of efficiency that results in winning.

With the players they have on this squad I really don't see the Princeton offense taking advantage of all their talents and it actually hampering them...
