08:09 AM ET 10.17 | Considering the post-LeBron era futility, few expect great things from Cavs in 2012-13. [This season] should still prove to be a challenging one even with some added talent and another year of growth from [Kyrie Irving]. There's a lot of youth on this team -- and there could be even more should Anderson Varejao end up getting traded at some point as expected -- so expectations for the Cavs are still understandably tempered. But not for Irving. He's setting his sights high, even though he's still only 20 years old. "Realistically, our goal is to make the playoffs," Irving said. "That's our number one goal right now, just get more wins and continue to get better."

A number of teams he can help. But most teams are either set of not willling to give up a lot. If they wanted to move him, they would have been shopping him over the course of the summer. Which would mean not a lot of interest.

I guess the new flopping rule really negates his skills and makes him borderline useless for the Cavs... lets see who's dumb enough to bite and overpay for this kid...

I believe Dan expected great things right? Mark his words that the Cleveland Cavaliers will win a championship before Lebron James...remember that? He seemed so sure of himself back then lol

The Cavs are one more good draft away from becoming a good team again. Gilbert will spend money when the time is right. GO Cavs! Cleveland needs something to cheer for.
