Dantonio backs off war of words

08:20 AM ET 10.17 | Nearing the intrastate rivalry that is Michigan-Michigan State, Mark Dantonio made his best effort to suppress the alter ego he called "the other guy." That "other guy" has created headlines, thrilled MSU fans and rankled U-M fans with his comments on -- and 4-1 record in -- the rivalry. ... Dantonio struck a different tone today. He said he likes how U-M second-year Brady Hoke has avoided saying anything to stir public emotion about this game. "I have a great deal of respect for Brady Hoke," Dantonio said. "To be honest with you, I think Brady Hoke handles himself at times much better than I do, OK?" Dantonio also blamed the media for goading him into some comments, as he did after the post-Michigan outburst in 2007.

That is a might big word for many on here.....
I find a fine line between insipid, boredom and sarcasm.
Insipidness can have a direct correlation with the lack of interesting topics within the course of a day, as well as the loss of the eye-candy that once populated this conversational arena to stimulate the blood pressure and the mind!! :-)

I did not watch any of the videos. "Boat races" are definitely one of those things I will never do again, I think...
However, sometimes young whippersnappers need to be shown how to doing those things...
