01:31 PM ET 10.17 | Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury but that should be of little concern to Minnesota ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Peterson missed last Wednesday's practice, too, but played in the Vikings Week 6 game against Washington. Head coach Leslie Frazier confirmed that Peterson is expected to play on Sunday and skipping Wednesday is a precaution.

I think I would let this guy skip every Wednesday practice for the rest of the year. Rest that knee, and play hard in the game.

I was watching the game thinking the same thing. He even clutched it a couple of times after getting hit. Every time it came to a defensive back, the shot low and attempted to undercut his momentum. I don't know if it was because he was back in Washington and nervous about it or not, but it really seemed to bother him.
