02:54 PM ET 10.17 | Most around the league believe that the Chicago Bulls will reach a long-term extension agreement with forward Taj Gibson before the October 31 deadline, even though it may add to the team's luxury-tax bill. ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the "most likely outcome" is the team giving Gibson a new contract and eventually letting go of Carlos Boozer via the amnesty clause.
