05:14 PM ET 10.18 | Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield is in the midst of a big season. His coaches have noticed. "Wow," is how the team's defensive coordinator Alan Williams described the play of the his veteran corner. "That's as good as I've seen anyone play in a long, long time. I thnk it's good because he's an older guy who comes out to practice. The way he prepares, the way he practices, the way he goes about his business ..." It's a big part of the reason that the Vikings are 4-2 and in the chase for the NFC North title.

Right. I start making sure I've got the fridge stocked and the propane tank full on Friday for Sunday's games.

Biggest hitting, little guy in the NFL. But seriously, are you joking?Honestly, he gets on the local radio at least once a week. Smart dude. I hope this guys considers coaching in the future, and not the booth.

It would be nice to have somebody smart in the booth on Monday nights.

He's an Ohio State Buckeye. In college, he was the surest tackler on the team. He sticks people and he's just a little guy. I can't believe he has physically lasted this long in the NFL. He loves contact. The way he hits, one would think his career would have only been about 3 to 4 years.
