08:14 AM ET 10.19 | Having grown up with Ray Lewis as his favorite player and Miami as his favorite school, Booker T. Washington senior Matthew Thomas, a 6-4, 210-pound outside linebacker considered one of the nation's best, would seem an ideal fit at The U. So why not just pick the Canes, who appear to be a natural fit? Because right now for Thomas -- and in the eyes of many other top South Florida recruits -- there is just something sexy about the Florida State Seminoles. ... Several of the best high school players in Miami-Dade and Broward counties believe the Seminoles might be that best option, and are looking forward to closely analyzing Saturday night's showdown with the Hurricanes in person at Sun Life Stadium.

Yes, FSU does have an appeal to many recruits. But, is Jimbo the guy to put it all together at FSU?
My local FSU fan feels that Jimbo is not the guy for FSU. She counts the days until he leaves...

first...define "wining." Does this mean FSU is encouraging underage drinking?

FSU's defense is weak! Come play at a school that teaches real defense!

Uhh, the closest one of those to this young man is UF. Makes more sense to go there. ;-)

I think it depends on how well he learns from his mistakes. Like the NCSt loss a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately it almost mirrored the UVA loss from last year, although we did have most our starting OL out for that game. But he needs to put teams away and stop playing "not to lose" when he gets a meager double score lead. Two scores, even when 16, is NOT enough to milk the clock and depend on the defense. You still need to attack them and increase the lead. Unless the game officially reaches "garbage time," you shouldn't assume you've won.

I have lived in Tallahassee and Miami and for a college age guy, Tallahassee is actually a funner palce to be. Now of course guys have to look at playing time and academics but strictly from 18-24 year old perspective, I would rather be in Tallahassee.
