Report: Notre Dame to starter Rees at QB

02:16 PM ET 10.20 | Tommy Rees will start at quarterback for Notre Dame against BYU on Saturday, multiple sources told the Tribune. After Everett Golson suffered a concussion against Stanford last Saturday, sources said Rees took the majority of practice reps during the week after Golson did not return to workouts until Wednesday. Irish coach Brian Kelly said Thursday his quarterback call would be a "game time" decision. Golson has started all but one game for Notre Dame this year, though Rees has relieved Golson for either performance or injury reasons in three games.
