AL West teams in market for Justin Upton?

The D Backs have good young pitching, so the need for some of the Mariners' guys really isn't there. They would then have to replace Upton in the lineup anyway.

But, Andrus for Upton? That makes a lot of sense.

If the Rangers sign Zack Greinke, trade Derek Holland for Jacoby Ellsbury, and deal Andrus for Upton...they just got younger, more diverse offensively, and perhaps better defensively.

then the rangers could get tougher than they had been in the past 4 seasons,,,,

signing greinke shouldn't be a problem at all, rangers have the money and the right talent to win just about every game,,,

trading holland for ellbury is something that has been cooking for the last 3 weeks or so, andrus should be moved and replace him with the rookie profar, wonder if the rangers should go fishing for KYLE LOHSE??

I think you are right. Upton hit 280 with 17HR last year, which is right at his career averages. He is an average right fielder. The M's would do better to keep their young pitching prospects and see how Trout hits if he stays healthy. I wouldn't give up Andrus for him, but if the Rangers lose Hamilton they may need outfield help and he would be an upgrade for them.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Red Sox make a play for either Andrus or Upton, then again what are the chances of that happening?

The Sox have a lot of salary off the books, which means they have money to spend.

AZ traded Chris Young the other day, I don't see them dropping another outfielder.

king felix too good of a starter, the mariners should get more than just cano, when if that ever happens, the mariners should get at least 5 top quality players in return for this elite pitcher!!!
