02:27 PM ET 10.21 | RGIII's day at the Medowlands just got a lot more interesting. Late in the first quarter, the Redskins had to cart off tight end Fred Davis and have announced that he has an Achilles injury that will keep him out of not only the rest of the game, but the rest of the season. Washington has announced that Fred Davis has torn his Achilles tendon and will miss the remainder of the 2012 season. Not only did the Redskins see what they thought was a touchdown negated by a Davis penalty, but Davis was injured on the play and limped off the field to the sidelines. He was then examined and carted to the Washington locker room to see the full extent of the damage done. It appears that the full extent is an Achilles tendon tear that will keep Davis out for the rest of the season.

Tough break. Just finished watching the game. Giants lucky to pull this one out. RGIII and Morris are the real deal - had the Giants D back on its heels most of the day. Whew.

The Giants are due for a loss.

Do you fire the moron defensive coach or permanently bench the dipshi# who let a receiver go by him with the lead and one minute remaining.
Could not believe it. You have the other team down, entire field to go, must score touchdown and you don't have your safeties back with instructions, beg a leg if you have to but do NOT EVER LET HIM GO BUY YOU!
You can't coach STUPID.

They had a letdown today, but woke up in time to pull it out. Very scary sometimes being a fan of this team, but it's never boring.

i wondered about that myself. The problem is Cooley didn't just get beat out by Davis. He got beat out by everyone. He was offering to do special teams, play fullback and pop popcorn in the stands before they finally cut him.

How in the hell do they not put contact on Cruz is beyond me. It's Haslett. His defense needs to go. If the defense played half well, the Skins would be 7-0.

You can't be that Stupid? Oh no, just ask the Pats, 49ers, the Pack, and a host of other victims of ELI and the GIANTS. I guess there would be a lotta opening around the league for DC using your analogy. The Giants just beat people when it counts, plain and simple. If they lose next week, which I doubt, they **** up and move to the next game and not like whining sissies. Who are the champs? Ask yourself that question and then you'll realize as others have and continue to do so!

Growing pains. But your Skins are headed in the right direction. 248 yards on the ground against the Giants is serious business. So is RGIII. Cheer up, the future looks bright.

True. We'll be alright in the long run. It's just Haslett's Defense or lack of, that is getting kind of old.
