You're exactly right. Just another example of the New York Post's sterling journalism. Toronto Sun and the Globe & Mail ain't got nothing on that rag. To pretend that the Dwarf gives the marching orders to the original six, Ed Snider et al is stupid, even for the Post.

I think what happens is, Dwafus waves $ signs in front of the owners of the less successful franchises in the less "optimal" areas...(you know, the stupid places HE put teams into)...being the greedy types, the buy into it. The 'established" owners (NYR/MTL/PHI/BOS, etc) know better. That's why we seem to not hear anything out of that side except for League "officials". A little word from Dolan or one the others, and the league goes into "blackout" mode. They (the owners) seem to be as fractured as the NHLPA....except they can't go and buy teams in the interim....
