Canucks, Flames scouting Sundin
Amid a fresh set of rumors that a managerial change within the Leafs could see Mats Sundin convinced to change his mind about becoming a rental player in the spring, the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames each had two scouts in Toronto on Tuesday for the Leafs' game against Carolina. The Canucks were not in TD Banknorth Gardens last night, but Flames general manager Darryl Sutter was assigned a press box seat.

Sundin as a Canuck? That'd be sweet...

what a soap opera this has become. If the Leafs brass would just take their heads out of their aces for just a couple days, they would fire Ferguson and actually start resolving some of the problems they are stuck with right now. All this guessing is turning ridiculous...c'mon trade deadline so we can have a conclusion (at least temporarily) to all this!

I can't see the Flames getting Sundin, he's not old enough yet.

Huselius-Langkow-Iginla.Tanguay-Sundin-Nolan.This looks better. And with Kipper getting some time off(Cujo signing). He'll get hot going into the play-offs and watch out. This team will make some noise in the play-offs.

The more I think about it., the more Sundin heading to Vancouver actually makes sense. He'd be a good fit with the Sedins, on the PP with Naslund? Maybe a Kesler or a Pyatt coming the other way would entice JFJ to do something?

Naslund already plays with the twins there kev. They need an upgrade or winger to play with Morrison.Sundin would like to play in Canada me thinks.

weight is simply added in so anaheim has the cap space to make this deal... hes a ufa at the end of the year so its a great move... i lived in cgy for two years watching the flames and that deal is not a good deal im unipressed with lombo and tarathukin is trash plus cgy will finish top ten so thats not a good enough pick...
