02:21 PM ET 10.22 | The Miami Heat are the overwhelming favorite to repeat as NBA champions this season, according to folks who know the game better than anyone. The Heat garnered 70 percent of the vote in the annual NBA general manager survey on Monday, topping the Los Angeles Lakers (23.3 percent) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (6.7 percent). The Heat were also predicted to win the Eastern Conference by all 29 GMs (you cannot vote for yourself, so the Heat ostensibly picked the Boston Celtics). Sixty percent of NBA GMs believe the Lakers will win the West, followed by the Thunder (36.7 percent) and the Denver Nuggets (3.3 percent).

As Tony Parker said: repeating is very hard to do. The great San Antonio teams probably had more upside than Miami and they could not do it. ...Seems like that successfully climbing that mountain belongs to the Lakers. - p.s. No disrespect to the old Pippin/MJ Bulls...

They had!
Key word, the spurs can't even keep up with the heat, infact they can't hold a lead either.
Spurs are old news they won't win another title anytime soon.
They can't beat OKC,lakers, or clippers or grizzlies.
Heat have way more upside in this present time, and are 2 man deep at every position, yes every position including center.
You better believe the heat will keep Josh Harrellson, that's another big body that can bang down low and rebound but Harrellson comes with a bonus, he can stretch the floor too.
