Gophers assistant Saul Smith placed on leave

03:31 PM ET 10.22 | Minnesota basketball assistant Saul Smith has been placed on administrative leave following his weekend arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Smith, the son of UM head coach Tubby Smith, blew a 0.18 on the breathalyzer, more than twice the legal limit. Saul Smith played guard at Kentucky for four years under his father. He was a member of the 1997-98 Wildcat team that won the national championship.
