This is actually a very smart move for KC.
This way they make sure they are in the top 3 in next year's draft and can catch a real QB.

I always wondered if B. Quinn got a fair shot at QB in his first couple of years?
Now we'll find out if with a little experience he has the goods.

I think so too. Plus they distribute some of the punishment to Quinn. When he gets too battered, they can let Stanzi take the punishment for a while. Either way, the new coach will have a high draft choice to play with.

If every coach or GM thinks like you, then they would be fired the next day. Look, they are in a very weak division and first place is 3-3, not 6-0.
