05:36 PM ET 10.22 | The Los Angeles Lakers have waived swingman Chris Douglas-Roberts, the team announced on Monday. There was hope that the former Memphis star could revive his brief NBA career for a contending team like the Lakers, but instead, he will have to hope some other team gives him a shot. Douglas-Roberts played in Italy last season following stints with the New Jersey Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.
