08:05 AM ET 10.23 | Agent Zero in China? Gilbert Arenas is nearing an agreement on a one-year contract with the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, a source told Yahoo! Sports. Arenas, 30, was a three-time All-Star who averaged 20.7 points over 11 seasons for the Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies. He was suspended for most of the 2009-10 season after bringing guns to the Wizards' locker room. He averaged 4.2 points and 1.1 assists while playing in 17 games for Memphis last season. Arenas hoped to return to the NBA this season while working out in his hometown of Los Angeles, but no teams expressed interest.

There is no way in the world that there are 300 players better than Gilbert Arenas right now in the NBA.

I know, I know. But as much as ability/talent wins out over baggage and stupidity in sports, I just can't believe that he has to go play in China. Same way I couldn't believe AI couldn't get a job on some team in the league. Now Steph was eating vaseline while making videos online. So I can believe he had to go play in China.

LOL! Even with that, there still aren't 300 players better than him. I just can't bring myself to believe that.

That shows more and more teams want character guys on their teams, and not me-me guys.
AI, Steph, Gil all belong to the me-me group plus additional baggage.
