Phils could inquire about A-Rod

Mr. Writer I am sure it is great reading for Phils fans, but what old player would the Yanks be interested in.

It would surely be the end of RAJ's tenure as GM!!!!

Also, it's not like they have another 3B in the farm system ready to take over A-Rod's place. So, in addition to eating a ton of the A-Rod money, Yanks would have to spend additional money on A-Rod's replacement. I just don't see it happening, especially this year.

Unless someone decides that Nunez can play third (I can hear jgb screaming already)

Good point. Eric Chavez isn't the answer. He's a nice back up, but he can't play full time. He'd be on the DL in no time. As for Nunez, he's pretty rough defensively from what I have seen of him.
