08:15 AM ET 10.23 | Music to Geno Smith's ears? The struggling West Virginia offense might get a shot in the arm when it plays again in two weeks -- the return of running back Shawne Alston. The bruising back -- not only the most capable in short-yardage situations, but also a strong locker-room presence -- tweeted Monday morning that he will be back for the TCU game Nov. 3 after the team's off week. ... [Dana Holgorsen] said his message Sunday when they returned after a 55-14 loss Saturday night was about getting mentally tough. "My message to the team after the game was we need to grow up," Holgorsen said. "We need to become a mature football team. We got beat by a mature football team, we need to become a mature football team."

I was wondering if Dana takes his own advice... I dont have a problem with the fan thing though

I was thinking the same thing. Holgorsen talking about immaturity....pot, meet kettle.

You need to lead that maturity charge with your actions as well as words there Dana.

Maybe he'll mature with the HC responsibility.

You follow the coach... So he has to lead by example/his actions....I cant say I know him... I know what FJJ says :)

Let's just say he's left a very obvious trail while at TTech, Okie Lite, Houston, etc.

Got real good info from the TTech situation (person in Ath Dept) and nearly as good info from the others.

Did both teams have to play in the wind or did they turn it off while TT had the ball and was throwing 70 yd td passes?
