12:20 PM ET 10.23 | Just a few days after a scare that had him sent to a local hospital, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller is expected to return to practice. Miller was hit hard in overtime against the Purdue Boilermakers this past weekend and needed to be evaluated for a possible concussion. Miller was taken to the hospital to have his head, neck and shoulders evaluated but was released just a short time later after Ohio State released a statement calling their quarterback "symptom-free of all ailments and is doing fine." During his weekly conference, Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer passed along the news that Miller is expected to resume practicing on Tuesday. While Miller's neck remains sore because of whiplash-like symptoms, the soreness is not expected to keep Miller off of the field this weekend when the Buckeyes travel to Beaver Stadium in State College to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions.
