01:14 PM ET 10.23 | New Orleans Hornets guard Austin Rivers suffered a scary right ankle injury in the team's preseason loss to the Dallas Mavericks, and to make matters worse, the injury was on the same ankle that he had surgery to fix over the summer. However, Rivers doesn't think the injury is serious and expects to be back on the court soon. "I never have sprained one before. I'm not taking this too serious. I want to get back as soon as possible. And I expect to be back as soon as possible," Rivers said. "I don't think it's anything too serious. It is the ankle I had surgery on, but it has nothing to do with my surgery. My surgery was completely 100 percent fine. It's just one of those everyday basketball ankle sprains. I'll be back."

oh- and looking at the picture....the kid doesn't even look like he's 6' tall. That old guy pointing looks a couple inches taller than him.

That's 6'4" Mario "Mush-Mouth" Paccetti.

I find it inconceivable that a kid who's played ball since probably age 5 has never sprained an ankle.....wow-That being said- spraining the surgical ankle is not good, even if it wasn't related

Body repairs itself better when you're younger. Not saying he's old, but he's going to have to get used to taking better care of himself.
