08:01 AM ET 10.24 | Though an opening tipoff looms on Halloween, no one is quite sure who will be there to take it for Denver. "If I had to start off by performance in training camp, I'd say Kosta (Koufos) would get the start," coach George Karl said Tuesday after the Nuggets' practice. "But early in the season, winning games, staying consistent, (taking) responsibility, (being) a pro, all those things will come into who plays that position. I still think it's somewhat of a three-headed center." In the first 25-30 games, fans could see a variety of starting lineups involving the center position. ... [Karl] likes JaVale McGee playing with reserve point guard Andre Miller. ... Timofey Mozgov is still in the mix at center.

QUOTE(#3):

just like in football, when you have 2 starting Qbs you have none.....in bball- when you bust out the '3 headed monster ' moniker...you have 18 fouls

It's about matchups... and with all the offensive weapons on this team it makes it easy to gameplan for every team in the league and keep the opposition on their toes..

The Bulls did at the PF C position back in the day. sometimes Cartwright wouldn't start due to a bad matchup... even in the later years they would have Kukoc start occasionally instead of coming off of the bench... The Lakers against philly after Iverson carved them up game 1, they started Tyron Lue the rest of the series to counter Iverson's speed... need I go on??

QUOTE(#10):

never said the center by committee hasn't been done before-all I said was that they had a certain starting rotation- after that- sure- adjustments are made

sounds like you're contradicting yourself there bro...

But those Bulls teams had MJ/Pippen...where is that combo on Denver? You can only play that style when you have SUPERSTARS to mask the deficiencies. Denver is full of mid level talent already..
