Knicks rivalry buzz intensifies around Nets

Net's should easily manhandle the Knicks at least these their next two meetings. Knicks are too banged up, too old and disorganized to win right now. The only usable players in the starting unit is Melo and Felton. One is selfish; the other is mediocre. Chandler is not great.

Nah.. we're not at the Heat level right now. Even when both teams are healthy Heat's got a leg up on the Knicks in talent and chemistry departments. Right now Knicks are a mess. They look lost on both ends of the court... Looks like the coach has no clue what he's doing.

If he's smart enough he'll keep Melo at 3 and start Copeland at the 4. Line up should be

1. Felton
2. Brewer
3. Melo
4. Copeland
5. Chandler

Melo needs to play at small forward so he can get into shape and be a bit quicker. The reason we gave up many perimeter shots is because Melo's too slow to guard on the perimeter and definitely too small to play 4.

Melo at 4 is a cop out... it makes him look good but the team suffers as it opens up the floor for opposing teams.

I'd be shocked if Knicks don't get blown out tonight with the way Woody is handling the team.

I've been watching preseason games and I aint seen nothing to give me hope. I see a buncha disorganized iso plays with no offensive or defensive schemes. Contrary to the talk Melo still plays selfishly like he didn't say anything... this season is a lost cause. Let's start with who our next messiah will be...we have no one and we aint going nowhere.... we couldn't even beat Toronto!

Yeah only people outside of New York would believe this garbage from Williams. I live in Brooklyn and visit Downtown Brooklyn quite a lot, from Flatbush Ave and Nevins ST to Flatbush Ave. Extension, Fulton St., 3rd & 4th Ave., Hoyt Schem to Jay Street, Myrtle Ave. to St. Felix St. to St. Charles St. pretty much the whole scope of Downtown Brooklyn and never have I heard a single person say the Nets are gonna beat the Knicks. Williams is a liar, he selling this story to outsiders. You have a Contingency of New Yorkers wearing the Nets hat because its a nice looking cap streetwise. Its like my best friend who is a diehard Mets fan, when he goes on vacation he wears the Yankees cap because of the universal recognition it receives, not because he champions them in any sense. A few weeks back I wrote the Nets, Jets, and Mets are one in the same as they all talk a lot and never win anything and its holding true with Williams and the Nets. Rivary? Really? Last I check the Knicks only had them Chiefly with the C's, Sixers, Pacers, Bulls, Lakers. You people who call this a rivary are completely mad, this is not a rivary yet and its not close to one. A 20 win team in the Nets, I mean really? Thats like the Yankees/Mets, the Giants/Jets, there's no true rivary there, the Mets and Jets always lose. You have to win somma the time to be considered a rivary. You people and the Nets need to get real!

Now here's the favorite so called Knicks fan, yet again, on a hateful bashing of the Knicks campaign. Wow...Why doesn't this suprise anyone. Whatta a loyal fan? Its really laughable that this guy calls himself a Knicks loyalist wit da "my my my poor Knicks" comments. I really wish people in New York could see his face rather than hidding behind a computer always making subversive comments about a team he claims to support. I really really wish people could see this guy in the streets.

I don't think you need wins to be considered a rival. All that's needed is pure hate. It has nothing to do with which can put a round ball in a hanging basket. Sharing the same city brews dislike and hate and that's what this is all about. A TURF WAR.

That is a rivalry!
