08:12 AM ET 10.24 | Jesse Williams made a statement Tuesday, both with what he said and in his appearance -- which included shaving his head. He went on to talk about how his season is going in the middle of the nation's top-ranked defense. And he talked about his role on offense, as the blocking back in short-yardage situations. "That's a lot of fun," Williams said. "It's going to get a lot funner if they give me a chance and let me grab the ball, but that looks doubtful." ... How are his receiving skills? "Aw, I played rugby ... back in Australia," he said. "I'm sure I can catch a ball." He's been lobbying the coaches for the chance to get the ball. "I tell them every day," Williams said. "Every time I see the coaches, I tell them my hands are ready for the ball."

Would like to see someone try to tackle that 600lb bench pressing Monster in the open field.

SIsuxs...Saving it 4 LSU where he will fumble and we will get a defensive TD

Their Aussie is just a little bit bigger than your Aussie, LUS. Y'all need to get Wing to hit the training table harder.

I had a guy like Jesse block me once. Actually, I tried to tackle him. Fullback. He was like a speeding freight train and I was like the tracks he'd just run over. It happened fast. I could see the sky.

Big dudes are easy to tackle in the open field. In tight, it is a whole different matter.

Of course, Bammer's Aussie is an ex-rugby player.

LUS's is -- uhhh -- not.

LUS played Auzzie rules. Up there with rugby in terms of toughness.

Agreed, once you start the tower falling at the legs in the open field but in tight with lots of bodies pushing around and leverage its tough!

He was blasting it against the Gamies, 50+ avg over 7 punts. That kept SOS looking at long fields all day long.
