Evander Kane suspended in KHL

04:35 PM ET 10.24 | Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane was suspended one game for a hit to the head in a KHL game Monday. Kane, who plays for Dinamo Minsk in the KHL during the NHL lockout, delivered the hit on Avangard Omsk's Nikita Pivtsakin. The league could have suspended Kane for five games but chose only to ban him for one.
