Texans run to win

03:04 PM ET 10.24 | The Texans, who have gotten out to one of the best starts in the NFL this season at 6-1, are one of the most balanced teams in the NFL -- ranking sixth in rushing, fifth in rushing yards allowed and fifth in passing yards allowed. Of the four major statistical categories, Houston ranks lowest in passing, a stark contrast to a league that has become increasingly defined by the ability to move the ball through the air. In an interview with a Houston-area radio station, Texans coach Gary Kubiak talked about his team's commitment to the run game (courtesy of Sports Radio Interviews): I think it's patience in a lot of ways. In the NFL you're probably down a good 20 snaps per game compared to the college game so if you start to panic and say ???well I'm only going to get 60 snaps and I have to make the most out of these' instead of saying ???okay how do I win this next game?' And I think you start putting the ball up quite a bit so you kind of have to have patience in what you're doing and have your formula for winning.

Kubiak makes more sense in the interview than the way he was excerpted. It is good to see a team succeed with the running game.

Right Now they are the AFC, by the end of the season New England should be ready for a run, Balt and Steelers are hurting, Bengles playing bad , Broncos look half way decent the rest should take the season off, but Rex says the Jets r still in it, yea in a weak division maybe!
