03:14 PM ET 10.24 | While Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is still dealing with a nagging rib injury, the rookie participated in a walkthrough with his teammates on Wednesday morning, according to Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. Richardson was noticeably limited in the Browns' loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur says that he's all right with his decision to play Richardson last week given that the running back avoided any setbacks, but the first-round pick struggled in the game. Expected to be a dynamic talent, he averaged just 1 yard per carry over eight carries against the Colts last Sunday.

Hey Pat, you're best back is injured, you're 1-6 and its unlikely you'll win more than 3 games this year. We all know that you won't be back next year, how bout you sit him til he's healthy!

I'm sure the kid wants to play--that is where the coach needs to be the "older and wiser head" and say slow down, you play when you are healthy.

The fans want to see him, but they won't like seeing him injured and out for the season because he came back too soon.

This is God letting Shurmur know he should rent in Cleveland and not buy, his best player gets injured when he needs to win some games. Let him, Weeden and Gordon rest, don't want them banged up for the next coach.
