05:22 PM ET 10.24 | Orlando Magic forward Al Harrington is getting closer to getting back on the court after having a staph infection in his right knee over the summer. Harrington told the Orlando Sentinel that he's scheduled for a check-up on November 12, and from there, he can resume practicing and eventually target a return date. Harrington had surgery to fix a torn meniscus that he played through in the playoffs last season while with the Nuggets, then suffered a setback in his recovery when the staph infection developed. He was dealt to the Magic as part of the four-team Dwight Howard trade.

Orlando has 5 power forwards so Al won't be missed. His contract is only partially guaranteed starting next year so he will probably not be counted on for anything anyway.

Where is that bandwagon parked again ?????????????

He worked a lot of opposing PFs in the West. I shall miss him pulling the chair on Blake Griffin the most. Not much funnier stuff in the NBA than watching Blake try and slam in for position and fall on his butt when he hits nothing but air.
