[His] average, 8.8 yards, puts him in the middle of the pack and he hasn't had any of the explosive touchdown returns that marked his rookie season. ... The Cardinals cornerback said he's hoping the 49ers' Andy Lee, who was named the NFC's special teams player of the week today after helping snuff out the Seahawks return game Thursday, will challenge him more than previous foes. "At the end of the day, as a punt returner, that's what I want," said Peterson, who had four punt returns for touchdowns last year. "I want the guys to try to challenge me by punting the ball deep and me getting the ball with a little bit of time."

NFL punters have gotten awfully good at putting the ball 3 miles in the air and dropping it on the 9 yard line. The coverage is usually standing next to the return guy, cleaning dirt from under their fingernails, before the ball even begins to come back down. Lots of fair catches.

There sure has been a lot of talk coming out of the Cardinals camp this last week. Just the other day one of the defensive linemen was talking about how he didn't get any sacks last week and he will make up for it when they play the 49ers, he is saying that he will sack Smith 6-8 times on Monday Night.
