07:35 AM ET 10.25 | Where the Eagles are by later this season may have something to do with any such return, but Andy Reid seemed encouraged by the progress Jason Peters has made and the potential to get his starting left tackle back for a late-season playoff push. Peters realistically could play Dec. 2 against Dallas at Cowboys Stadium, the first of the Eagles' final five games. Reid also mildly compared the recent comeback of Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs from the same injury to Peters' attempt. ... "There's a chance [Peters can come back]," Reid said. "You saw Suggs go through his thing. Now Jason has had two of those, and I'm not gonna put him at risk [of re-injuring it]. That's not what we're going to do."

No bright spots for the Eagles until December, then? Way to keep Philly fans pumped up, Andy.

Maybe guessing the number of fumbles Vick will cause will be enough excitement for the Philly fans until December?

Just so long as the number of fumbles is less than the number of cheese steaks Andy eats
