03:54 PM ET 10.25 | New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw did not participate in practice on Thursday due to a foot injury, according to head coach Tom Coughlin. This is the second consecutive day that Bradshaw has missed practice. While Bradshaw has had recurring foot issues throughout his career, this most recent irritant surfaced following the team's victory against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6, when his foot was stepped on. It was originally projected that the 26-year-old running back was going to return to practice on Thursday. According to Coughlin, he would not clarify his absence as a setback and believed that he would be available on Friday.

Oh well, I suppose it isn't any worse than "matriculate down the field," or whatever it was Hank Stram is alleged to have said.
