04:53 PM ET 10.25 | According to pretty much every reporter on the planet, Dwight Howard wanted to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets last summer. Now, Howard himself is saying the same thing. In an interview with ESPN New York 98.7 FM, Howard told Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco that Brooklyn was "a place where I told the Magic that I really wanted to go." However, once he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in August, he realized it was a "blessing in disguise."
