It's the worst such showing in franchise history. ... Coach Mike Brown isn't outwardly worried, but even the Lakers' eternally optimistic coach has to be wondering if they can iron out the kinks before Tuesday's regular-season opener. "Sure I'd like to get better yesterday as opposed to tomorrow or the next day or the week from now," he said. "Having said that I know it's going to take some time. Despite our record, I think we are a little ahead of schedule, especially with the injuries."

Lakers bench is still meh... Jamison still has something. They are counting on Blake, Ebanks, Meeks and Jamison to score off the bench. They installed a new offense with new players that don't really fit the skills of their best players.

After having wrote what I just wrote in the Jeremy Love thread, needless to say, this denial of very talented Lakers teams is as equally as astonishing and the unreal zeal and zest for Jeremy Love. Its reeks of massive denial that the Lakers at the very least, will be in the conference final although I suspect they will win it all this year. This preseason record will not be the true reflection of who the Lakers truly are...remember I said it a month from now, then pull it up and post it. I however stand by my postion that Jeremy Love is a has been moments of sensation from last year and will be nothing close to the marvelous 25 gm stretch he had last year. The Lakers on the other hand are nothing close to that team they had last year and frankly, there better to the extent of winning it all......don't be in denial about this as you are about Jeremy Love!
