05:08 PM ET 10.26 | The Baltimore Ravens have been fined $20,000 by the NFL for failing to list safety Ed Reed on their injury report. Reed has a torn labrum in one of his shoulders, and while he has been fully participating in practice, the NFL nonetheless considered his omission from the injury report a violation of league procedures. A portion of the NFL's injury policy states that "all players with significant or noteworthy injuries must be listed on the report, even if the player takes all reps in practice, and even if the team is certain that he will play in the upcoming game." Reed first acknowledged the injury on Oct. 17 and admitted it could be affecting his play, but he has been able to start every game for Baltimore this season. Reed has 30 tackles and two interceptions through seven games.

Dumb Move by The Coach, next time they'll suspend him!!!

Next time you ask why Bill Belichick list so many guys on the injury report, along with half the cheerleading squad, think back to this thread. When you use terms like "noteworthy," you invite questions, abuse and over-reaction.

Brady Questionable Shoulder
Gronkowski Probably Bad Haircut
Blanda Unlikely Deceased

Ed Reed is a beast

Nice to know the NFL holds gamblers in higher esteem than the fans. I haven't been able to see one Thursday game (and it doesn't look like I'm missing anything there with only a few days off for teams) and I'm still forced to watch the Falcons every Sunday because "that's the market you live in". The time has come for pay per view, either on line or in house. The **** industry has figured it out why can't pro sports?

October 27, 2012  01:32 PM ET

I have yet to figure out the NFL network. They show Thursday night game , then show reruns of games from years ago. Why not show this years regional games, let the folks in other market areas see how the game played out.
