07:47 AM ET 10.27 | Nobody can say when Amar'e Stoudemire and his ailing left knee will step onto a court again. The Knicks have given a timetable of at least two to three weeks, but coach Mike Woodson said Friday he really doesn't know when Stoudemire will be back as he battles his latest injury -- a ruptured cyst in the back of his left knee. Contrary to reports, however, Stoudemire did not have microfracture surgery in 2005 on his left knee. It was his right knee.

It never ends wit this guy, injuries that is. You have all these Stat backers backing a cat who at the most inopportune times always seems to be injured. What an absolute waste of money by the Knicks on this fraud anyways!

Is he a bigger fraud than Melo?

Well we all knew what we were getting ourselves into when we signed up. Uncertainty is part of life so I can live with that. Melo & STAT are two different situations. You have one that's an injury waiting to happen and you have another that just plays for himself. For Knicks, this season was lost before it even started courtesy of Melo & useless coach!

He Needs to either be bought out or forced to retire.

Man I don't know what to think of the Knicks any more. Amare was playing well and had the Knicks looking much better until they did the Melo trade. Since then it's been all turbulence. It's frustrating to me as an outside observer. I know it has to be rough on Knicks fans.

The Knicks and their fans deserve some good fortune......

As a Knick fan I'm so glad Stern is leaving. We never won anything under him. All he did was give us Ewing... where did that get us? Maybe the next commish will be a Knick with a brain!

I disagree. With all the verbal diarrhea the Knicks faithful spew all over these boards, I say they deserve this and more!

Wasn't it just a week ago when one of them was knocking my Bulls for not being on the same level as the Knicks???

"verbal diarrhea the Knicks faithful spew"I never see this on here. Most Knicks fans have been humbled enough by now and are just waiting for their team to give them something to cheer about.

Some are. But as I mentioned, just last week some posted something about "wishing they could get some competition from Chicago" or something along those lines; basically rubbing in the Rose injury and how the healthy Knicks are superior to the banged up Bulls. Nothing humble about it.
