LeBron James: I want to be the best of all-time

09:08 AM ET 10.27 | Having one title is not completely satisfying for LeBron James, who put the he-can't-win notion to rest when the Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games for last season's NBA crown. It was a perfect run for the perennial All-Star: Besides getting engaged and winning his second Olympic gold, James walked away with the NBA's three most coveted trophies: MVP, Finals MVP and the championship. For an encore, he wants more. "I want to be the best of all-time," James said in an interview with The Associated Press. "It's that simple." He expressed similar sentiment last year, and the year before that, and probably all the way back to high school in Akron, Ohio. He always wondered if a championship would change that perspective. He now has his answer. "Not really, honestly," James said. "I haven't had much time to really just think about what actually happened. At the end of the day, there's still going to be people that say, well, he's not going to be able to win two. He's not going to be able to do it again."

what a waste of cyberspace

it's not gonna happen, Jordan holds that title for a reason.
Two things: he carried a team for his entire elite career and he never had a Wade type player as a teammate. Sure Pippen was an all star but not of Wade's caliber.
Plus Jordan never wanted to play with a super team roster, he wanted to beat the other guys......

After having shut a lot of us last year and after exhibiting a determined professional attitude the entire season and winning it all, Lebron, I thought you learned from your experiences. I guess you're kinda forgetting what you've learn. When asked these kinda questions, just be evasive and show us all like you did last year. Please don't think the haters are gone because they're not. Save yourself the headaches and be quiet.

Pippen on list of top 50 players of all-time (deservedly or not). Will Wade make that list? So your main point is argument is invalid. The other,as to what either player (Jordan or LBJ) wanted, is irrelevant. It is what he had that is important, not what was wanted. Not saying that LBJ deserves GOAT title, but your arguments are not winners.

Get seven or eight rings and you will be in the discussion. Otherwise shut your trap fool.

How many rings do you have that enable you to open your trap and not be a fool in doing so?
