Escobar has a lot of talent, but you never quite know what you're going to get with him. Good one year, average the next.

Things can flip flap any time with a new player in a new organization,,

Maybe, I would work hard with Escobar before I trade him!!! That's what Billy Martin did with Rod Carew!!! Before he was Rod Carew!!!

Isn't Furcal coming back?

He has another year on his contract but he ended the season on the DL and if I'm not mistaken, he's going to "rest" his elbow before he has surgery.

wiseup: even if furcal has surgery on his elbow and doesnt start the season .Kozma has performed quite well for a rookie. He was steady defensively and hit pretty well also. If St .L. has a need it might be a 2nd baseman, or a starting pitcher to replace loshe

Escobar is a talent, but needs a kick in the ass from the right team and its management. Guys like Molina could keep him in line. This could be a sweet deal for the Cards.

Wishful thinking Toronto, but the Cards are not going to let go one of their prospects they brought up from Triple A this season. Number15 is under contract for next year and I think they are happy with Kozma play at the end of the season.

This is so weak, Cards don't need this headache.

I can't see the Cardinals wanting to take this guy on. Certainly not in exchange for one of our top-line young arms. My guess is that they'll go with Furcal and Kozma.

wiseup: Walt jockerty has been looking for a solid leadoff man Jay would fit that bill. I'm sure their are obstacles to work out a trade with reds #1. What would St L. want in exchange and #2. Would St. L. Trade jay to central Div. and risk having Jay Haunt the Cardinals for the next two to four years.
