09:56 AM ET 10.28 | Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura served as honorary coin flippers before SMU's game with Memphis, and President Bush addressed the Mustangs with a pre-game speech. "He told us to kick (posterior)," said quarterback Garrett Gilbert. "It was an incredible opportunity to get to meet a guy like that, and then to have him come back and give us kind of a pep talk before the game -- that was pretty special."

Great speech George w., I just wonder if you look at the Memphis record before accepting this position on Saturday. With only one win I don't think SMU really needed your help.

Great comment!!!!!! I don't know how the SOB (Bush) can sleep at night, with the thought of 4,000+ killed soldiers and thousands of others walking around without any limbs, on his conscious. I am "Very" surprise that FN put up this article, especially on a Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No doubt. And he has these folks helping him..
One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998
"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
- Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998
"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998
"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
- Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998
"Hussein has.... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

Bingo Timer. This man is a blight on the soul of humanity. Hands down not even close the worse President in US history. Garret Gilbert and all the other delusional Texans who think he was "great" ought to just secede like they always threaten to do and do us all a favor. This is the state that has produced two presidents Johnson and Dooshbag Bush.

If you are trying to pass off his failures as a President to lead (and mislead) the country then take your partisan crap someplace else. This is not a Democratic or Republican issue, the military-insdustrial complex (Wall Street) has more than enough puppets on both sides of the aisle to do their bidding. That is all you have exposed in your post.
None of that washes the blood from Dooshbag's hands.

What is 'partisan' is a failure to acknowledge the part your team played. I'm simply pointing out that many were fooled by the WMD issue. Sorry if that wasn't on your morning e-mail blast from the DNC. As to your last partisan sentence, I didn't say anything in that vein. It's simply a straw man because you can't refute the rest.
For the record, I am not a dem or rep, so don't bother with that diversion. Iraq was a huge mistake, no doubt about it. But so is Obama's "good" war in Afghanistan. None of these backward troglodites either want democracy or know what to do with it when they've got it...
This "all people yearn to be free" BS is what gets us into all of our messes.

And once again the fine folks on FN have proven that they would rather stick with rumors, innuendo and "gut feelings" than anything else.
