Ex-Celtic Allen: Disconnect hurts

I see Ray's point of him not being treated like family. It must hurt given how much he sacrificed and the bond he formed with Pierce and KG. Unfortunately management saw it differently as it became clear it was expandable.

So when management wanted to bring him back he stuck it them and bolted to play for the rival. Ray needs to understand what comes with that.

They way Celts approach the game unless y're teammate ur enemy... so what's the beef Ray? I don't think they should be friends until their careers are over.

But Ray's constant crying for attention tells me Bron, Wade and Bosh have not accepted him into their friendship. And I don't fault Miami's big three... Ray's too old for them.

I like Ray, but he sure sounds like one hell of an insecure individual.

I don't have all of this newfound dislike for Ray, I think the Celtics management, Danny Boy in particular, pointed in the direction they were going and for the most part, it didn't include Ray. Funny how no one heard Paul or KG supporting Ray or disapproving of Doc's change of direction in the backcourt(Bradley), now all of a sudden KG's mad and Ray's no longer his friend. If you ask me that's kinda two faced, kinda sorta like his new snarling disposition after winning his only championship. Most the posters on this site act like they don't have feelings and that Ray's wrong so they say he's crying and for him to shut up. Its kinda easy to have all of this Macho Computer Hiding Bravado to be liked by one another while doing it. I see that as being fraudulent as well. Apple is never trying to be liked by anyone on this site, it's not my style if I have to sacrifice brute honesty in order to appease another poster on this site. Ray's has expressed his discomfort with guys he thought was his friends, Paul & KG. He thought they built something special in winning that ring together. Unlike others, my memory serves me correct and I say this much "Ray was more instrumental in winning that title than Rondo and they would not have won title if it wasn't for Ray's complete dedication, professionalism, and commitment all season long that season. He easily represented 25-30% of the production of that title. Look, I could more easily understand if KG or Paul had said "during the rest of my career during the Regular and playoffs we are enemies on the court, our friendship otherwise is in tact". Nah, these outside of baskeball guys, are characterless. Absolutely shows the true nature of these so called Macho individual. It also shows the characters of these characters championing this absurbity. Have you heard of a mirror? Look in it real hard wit that stupid look on ya dumb faces!

For the record, Ray has been asked constantly since coming here about the split...he has declined.

This article is referring to comments made once and only once by him.

Ray Allen has not gone to battle with LeBron, Wade and Bosh just yet. Once this team gets about 30 solid games under their belt, the bond and relationship will be there.

Ray only needs to do one thing : hit 3's.

If Ray hits those shots at a high %, Miami will be just fine.

Barring injury, there is no team in the East that will beat Miami.

You are correct about everything you've said except the part he needs to keep his head down, don't buy it at all. Look I've been watchin C's baskeball since the days of Cowens, Jo Jo, Hondo, Nelson and Charlie Scott. I'm abreast of the Celtic way, funny though, I didn't exactly here any of the guys aforementioned disfriend Paul Westphaul when he was traded to Suns. No the respected friendship and as far as I know, they are still friends. I also don't recall Bird or Mchale speaking subversively of the Cheif when he won a title wit the Bulls. KG & Paul are classless in that respect, plain and simple.

You call it how you want. I call as it is. Anyways my Knicks are fine and until I see differently, I won't post otherwise.
